No experience needed. This camp is designed for first-timers:

What Kids Will Learn

Throughout the week, kids will be introduced to:

  • Basic movement skills (balance, coordination, agility)

  • Fundamental Jiu-Jitsu positions and escapes (beginner level)

  • Safe partnering, teamwork, and respectful mat behavior

  • Confidence-building games and challenges

Half-Day (9–12):

  • Warm-up + movement games

FAQ

  • No—just athletic clothes.

  • Only age-appropriate, controlled partner practice, with safety rules and close coaching.

  • Water bottle, snack (and lunch for full-day campers).

  • We’re not able to offer early drop off or late pick up. If your child must come later than 9:15 am or need to be picked up early, please send an email to contact@houznjiujitsu.academy.

    → Students will only be dismissed to those people listed in the registration. All adults picking up students must have a government issued ID to sign out a child.

  • If your child shows any symptoms please keep him/her at home.

  • No, all fees are non-refundable. We’ll try to accommodate the student into another week if there’s space available or transfer the fees to a family member to attend the 2026 Summer Camp.
