Dress Code

  • Houzn Uniform is REQUIRED to attend all classes.

  • DROP INS - White Gi only void of any team patches.

Bare Feet

  • Make sure your feet are clean before walking on the mat.

  • No bare feet in the restrooms and/or on the Academy floor.

Personal Belongings

  • All personal items, except water bottles, should be kept in the cubbies.

  • If you need to change clothes, do it in the restroom.

Class Time

  • Arrive 5-10 min. before the start of the class.

  • If arriving late, always ask for the coach’s permission before entering the mat.

  • Always bow when entering or leaving the mat.

Inside The Academy

  • Be mindful of classes in session. Speak quietly and respectfully.

  • If you’re watching a video or playing a game on your device, please keep at low volume or wear headphones so the class won’t be disturbed.

  • No horse play, especially if there’s a class in session.

  • Shoes, food, or drinks are not allowed on the mats.

  • Always clean up after yourself.

  • The training equipment is reserved for ADULTS ONLY.

  • Encourage and support your teammates.

  • Focus on PROGRESS over perfection.

  • Take ownership over your results.

  • Take action to overcome resistance.

  • Seek to adapt to a growth mindset.

  • Value your time. Pay attention!
