CYCLE 1 (Weeks 1–12) — Guard Attacks + Core Gi Chokes
Week 4 — Triangle Choke + Safe Stack DefenseTechniques
Guard / Closed Guard / Attacks → Triangle choke (setup + finish)
Guard / Closed Guard / Defense → Posture + stack defense (safe version)
Key cues: cut angle, knee to chest, head control; defense = posture + knee in tailbone (no neck drive).
Common mistakes: triangle square; pulling head with no angle; defender stacking dangerously.
Positional sparring start: closed guard; bottom triangle-only, top defense-only.
To Win: clean triangle or clean posture escape.
Full rounds focus rule: Standing start, but once on the ground bottom player must attempt the week’s guard attack first (triangle/loop/omoplata/cross choke, etc.) before switching goals.
